·    Observe proper diet- The food intake that we have in our body provides numerous effects. Eating the right kinds of food is the first step to get pregnant at the right time. Nutrients from these healthy foods contribute for pregnancy to take place. Like for example, foods rich in fiber and folic acid are known to show best results in pregnancy. They provide essential nutrients that helps develop the different organs used when pregnant. Having a good diet is the first step on your way to pregnancy.

·    Avoid contraception- If you are really pursuing to achieve pregnancy, then stop using contraceptives like pills or any birth control method that you are currently using right now. Remember that our body reacts to hormonal changes when you take or stop using contraceptive methods especially pills. And it takes time to make our body adjust again.

·    Visit regularly your ob-gyne- Take time to have a regular consultation with your ob-gyne or fertility specialist just in case you might be suffering other medical problems that may hinder you from getting pregnant. Your doctor is the best and most qualified person to hear your problem. In this way, he or she can add more tips or supplements to make your body ready for pregnancy.

·    Monitor your ovulation cycle- If you have a normal 28-day cycle, then don’t worry. You only have lesser problems. You can always chart in the calendar or in a notepad the first day of your menstrual period to guide you when is the right time to have sex. In this way, you can be assured that you will be reminded on the possible days on when your ovulation is in its highest peak. However, if your cycle is not normal then you can go to your ob-gyne for more recommendations.

·    Say hello to fertility supplements- Now is the perfect time to acquaint yourself in using fertility supplements. They can work well by balancing your hormones and at the same time complementing your daily diet.

·    Consult your partner- It might also help to have a private talk with your partner because it might be that he is one of the reasons why you are not getting pregnant. Does your partner smoke, drink alcohol or worse, take drugs? Now is the best time to avoid these things because they can reduce sperm production ideal for pregnancy to occur.
